We don't have either store here, but maybe Lowes has them ?? I'll check tomorrow. Do I ask for any certain name-brand...or just simply pest strips? (Don't laugh, but like I said, I've never bought them before)

So, it's that easy? ....pest strips and "zap, they're gone!!" Wow....if these will knock out spider mites for me, too....you're way on top of my Orchid Board Friends List. lol

Seriously, and all silliness aside, thank you for your help. I'll definitely look for some.
Vicki

343560]I get them at home depo or orschelns ....they hang or have a little base to stand on.I just hang one on my shelving one coveres a good size area. And they last 3 or 4 moths each.

I have been buying the "HOT SHOT" brand at Home depo...at farm stores and feed stores you can get one made for use in dairy barns....

they work incredibly well for me in fact my brugmansias which are spider mite magnets in the house in winter to the point of losing all leaves and becoming huge ugly bare stems will never get a mite at all if I hang one of these nearby

Thanks John!
I plan to go look for some this morn. My husband reminded me that there is a place called Tractor Supply near here that might have them. They sell all kinds of stuff for farms, dairies..whatever. If they don't, I'm off to Lowe's to look for some Hot Shot.
Thanks again,
Vicki
