Not sure either, but I am sure he wasn't going to survive on my little potted tree. When I placed him in the cup outside between the junipers, he managed to get out and I spotted it eating juniper. I hope it survived but if he didn't I won't feel so bad for a non-threatened species. I think I gave him a fair chance to survive.
