Good luck, hopefully you'll be able to get rid of them. You could also try neem oil. The effects aren't as immediate, but it works pretty well. Neem oil screws around with the insects' hormones (so affects reproduction) and has an anti feedant effect, so it affects them in the long term.

If within a few weeks nothing works, then the systemic insecticide I'd recommend is one made by Bayer, containing imidacloprid. It works systemically by applying it as a drench, and can also be used as a contact insecticide and mild systemic effect (I add some dishsoap too) by spraying.
