Default Help! White and pale yellow growth on wood mount

I recently noticed (after 3 days of afternoon thunderstorms) this white to pale yellow growth on one of my wood mounts. It's rapidly spreading along the bark and is probably some type of mold. Anyone familiar with this yucky stuff? Will it threaten my plants, and if so, what's the best treatment

There are 2 tillandsias and a Physcopsis attached to the mount. Should the plants be removed prior to treatment?

Mildew maybe? I recently saw something similar on one of my mounts, and doused the area with hydrogen peroxide. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

Update...No treatment was done, but all the white stuff has turned yellowish orange and it's no longer spreading.
