Default brown areas on the leaves

This is a Burrageara "Stefan Isler" that I've had for about 6 mos. About a month ago I noticed the tips of the leaves were turning brown and there were brown areas on the leaves. I cut them off.

The picture shows a cut leaf with new brown areas forming. I don't know if it's a reaction to the pruning or whatever this is is spreading.

The uncut leaf shows a brown area like the ones I noticed previously. It is dark brown with lighter areas around the edge. It appears to be spreading.

Any ideas? Treatments?

Maureen

Looks bacterial.

Is the growing area clean? Are the plants crowded?

They're growing indoors for the winter on a wire shelf unit (top shelf) about 4"-6" between pots.

Good air flow in the room. Temps 60-70. 20-40% RH.

What can I do to treat bacterial infections?

Can you increase the day temperature to at least 80 F and the RH to somewhere around at least 60%?

Some people get humidifiers for the humidity issue, they're inexpensive ($25).

I'm not sure how you'd address your temperature issue.

Bacterial issue:

Sterilize the cutting tool and remove the infection. Burn the removed portion.

H2O2 can work too as was suggested. Gotta make sure the infections stop before you can stop applying.

I know, my RH is too low. I've been looking at the humidifiers - guess I better get one.

The temp is what it is.

I cut all the bad stuff off and treated the plant.
I sure hope this works and the crud doesn't spread to other 'chids.
