Brown spot, yellowing leaf on Chocolate Drop
What do I need to do about this. Still a newbie, so haven't encountered this before... And do I worry about this "pock marks" on the leaf in 2nd pic?
On the lighter note, my NOID Phal has a new spike. And my Royal Robe 'Jerry's Pick' has 2 new spikes. I had bought most of my chids in bloom, so this is my first potential rebloom.

Pic 2 don't know, probably isn't serious. Close-ups available?

First, congrats on the re-blooms.I love the'raspberry' scent of Miltassia Royal Robe.Did you take the cat's from shade to full sun?The dark color of the leaves suggests shade. Most all cat's will have an almost olive green color when the light is right. When plants need a higher light level, you must bring them up to that level gradually.Looks like sunburn from here.Too dark, too wet,or/and too cold,[sounds like last summer around here] can produce the conditions for the second photo.I'm no expert by any means, but thats my guess without more info on how these plants were cared for. Most 'chids are killed by kindness,or so I hear.Let us know,Brad

I'm thinking that posting how you're growing it is of benefit as well.
I think it's best to fix the cultural problem than worry about the blemish, unless that black lesion is growing rapidly.
If it is, I'd cut it off.
If it isn't, it might heal, and when it does, you can remove the dead parts.
If it doesn't heal, it might just fall off on it's own.

I cut it off. The spot had grown rather quickly, I think I had just noticed it maybe a week and a half ago, maybe a little longer. It had started as a little black spot. Also just separated it from my others, just in case.
I have all my plants in a south facing window, moved them there several months ago, because it had better light than my east window. But it turns out that the building next to me, is now blocking all the lovely sun they were getting before. It has also been rather grey here, until today. I fear that they are not getting as much light as I thought they would. Sun is too low in the sky. Even my lemon tree is a bit unhappy there....
