It is too late now for anything but to lament what happened today while I wasn't looking. A large grey grasshopper must have hitched a ride into the GH when I put my orchid plants in for the winter. I had a nice NOID Oncidium in spike for the first time and was hoping to at least see its flower and maybe get an idea as to what it is. Not to be, the critter chewed the stem in half and there he was still perched on the plant. I tried to catch him but he jumped away. Look out Mr. Hopper, I'll catch you yet. (At least I hope so, I have several other plants in spike).
Thanks for listening to my lament.
Beverly A.
