strange problem with areial roots Male
Default strange problem with areial roots

My Catt Mac Hlomes "Newberry" is in s/h and has been growing well.It has matured one new Pb and leaf and has one new lead that has alredy started a leaf and one huge eye expanding well and one smaller eye growing but still slower than others.

roots are growing nicely and it has been in s/h for over three months now untill just a week or two ago when suddenly one areial root developed a section of root that just suddenly shriveled up.THis is just a small section in the middle of the root and the growing tip looked good and the section before this spot still looks fine.

after three or four days growing tip drys out and the root dies then from this point to the tip.

What could be causing this? There are no bugs and It is not rotting and it is not wet and soggy. It simply looks as if something has caused it to dehydrate in this middle section. The velumin actually shrinks and then it dies from this point uot to the end.

I cut this part off a inch or so ahead of this point and it seems fine then It has happend twice now on two different roots.
