These are restricted poisons. The agricultural supply always checks my ID before sale.

I admit it is not enforced but the danger of misuse is great. Get a copy of the hazardous materials sheet for this item and see the recommended steps you need to take to be safe. It is scary.

You are saying that Subdue Maxx is a "restricted poison"? I am not aware of the term "restricted poison" being used in the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act. Are you trying to say "restricted use pesticide"?

I see no evidence that Subdue Maxx is a "restricted use pesticide". If it was the product label would contain a boxed statement of that on the 1st page of the label. I do not find this on the Subdue Maxx label

The problem is not with the chemicals, however dangerous they may be. The problem is that the home grower for the most part hasn't a clue how to use them or how to protect themselves and the environment because they are to lazy to read the entire label including all of it precautions. I'm sure that most of them don't know that this particular chemical is not recommended as a foliar spray. It may be over kill but when I do spray chemicals in my greenhouse I look like an alien, full tyvek suit, full face respirator, chemical proof gloves and boots.

I thought so too but I was just reading the latest label and it now allows for foliar application.

Speaking of changing labels, I have heard that Mavrik Aquaflow is being discontinued. There is a new product called Mavrik Perimeter that seems to be the same formulation but it is not labeled for ornamental use.
