that is an impressive jumping spider tho, Harry! I had a golden orb weaver last year on my brugmansia! It was huge! I also think he scared the squirrels away from it! No doubt you have alot more spiders in SC thank I do here in MI

I understood - and while I don't want mantis' in my house I do leave small spiders - and the ones I don't 'leave' are not killed - but re-located to outside

HAHA I dont trust anything with 8 eyes. However I have decided to name my lil spider Herman, after Herman Munster. I think its a fitting name

i am also scared of spiders, no matter how small. it starts when i was twelve, in school. the spider was huge, maybe 3-4" (huge!) and carrying her babies. she was right behind my chair, on the wall. she makes me jump (and also my classmates!). we didn't harm them, just stay away from that wall till she leaves.

i didn't see much spiders in my home or the garden anyway. should thank the cats maybe...

haha my cats are more afraid of spiders than I am! stupid cats will chase centipedes around but come running from spiders. I put out 5 more orchids for Herman to mess around with yesterday. I think hell be happy
