Blisters on brassia leaves
I have a reoccuring problem with ondicium and brassia leaves, not the usual spotting or brown tips. I have checked as many sources and asked at the local OS meeting and no one seems to have seen this on their orchids. Could they be leafminers? They look like blood blisters to me(but can't be). They form on the surface of the leaves, tend to be isolated, and are a blister; ie round, raised and appear to be full of a liquid. Later the leaf tends to look worse, mostly on the back; tiny spots, areas with some tissue missing and places where sap has been extruded. Looks like something pierced the tissue and the sap is slowly leaking out the hole. The damage does not seem to reduce the vitality of the plant, just makes it ugly. Any ideas what is going on?
