Default Bugs in my Catt

Hey All --
So i was checking up on my cattelya this morning (i.e. checking my bamboo stick in the bark) and noticed that there were about 10 pin-head sized silver/black bugs walking around on the stick. I checked the entire plant over and they don't seem to be on the leaves or anything but the bark. What are these bugs? How do I get rid of them? Will they harm the plant? If I do need to use a product to get rid of them, is there an environmentally friendly way to do so?
Thanx!

Here are some pics that I took of the plant with a ding on the edge and I tried to capture the bug on the stick. He's halfway up the stick and in the darker section in the middle. THey are fast little suckers!

Thanx-
Katie

Hi Amanda,
Thanks a bunch for the link! But how do I know which "recipe" to use if I don't know what the "bug" is that's infiltrating my plant matter? Do you have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Katie
