A friend gave me this little carnivorus plant
and it's working great, it's Pinguicula "Butterwort" here's some pics the last one shows what it caught, he keeps them all around his orchid benchs said they really help with the bugs. It likes moist w/rainwater, no food and bright light. Hope this is of some help to someone........ Jim.
Pings are great for helping around the orchids. I highly recommend them if you have problems with fungus gnats or white fly. They are very sensitive to hard water or fertilizer (which is not needed). There are many different species which will grow in the house or greenhouse.
Pings are very neat! I have three different plants. Some have fragrant blossoms. Mine are in bloom all the time and covered with bugs much of the time.
I have three Flytraps placed around whit my chids. *s*
They have been in winter-rest, but are beginning to wake up by now, growing thick spring-traps, ready for some heavily feeding... *lol*
