I think my Phal may have a virus.

Hi, am a new orchid lover. I currently own only two Phal's at present. So, far my first orchid is doing well but am worried about my second phal. I won him in a drawing. I had noticed the flowers had some insect bites on them. I was hoping that the guy who gave the drawing had solved that problem. Just a last week I noticed that one of the flowers wilted. After some further investigation I noticed the leaves were starting to look black and there was some black oily looking drops on them too. Not to forget the leaves in certain areas are thinning out to where you can see more light showing through. I don't have any pics but, I can provide them if someone thinks they can help me.
