Default Cleaning/Disinfecting

I need to clean some old pots that I've just been throwing in a bucket.

What do you suggest?

Thanks!!

I use Physan 20 and this is what they recommend on their label and website for Orchids:

POTS AND FLATS
Used pots or flats should be brushed or washed first, then soaked in PHYSAN 20 solution for 10 minutes before using to kill such diseases as Crown Rot, Mildew, Root Rot and Rusts. Do not rinse.
Use: 1 tablespoon PHYSAN 20 per gallon of water.

Hope this helps!

If you don't have Physan 20 or RD-20 (same product, different manufact), and you or someone you know, belongs to Sam's Club there is a product called Proforce made by Ecolab. It is an acid-free cleaner/disinfectant that contains similar disinfectant properties as the others. It is a "hospital grade" disinfectant and it is cheap! You can also soak your pots in full strength bleach. Just rinse them out afterwards.
