Mold on Ghost (Pollrrhizza l.)?

I can see very small white dots in the grape vine wood they are mounted on. Today it is on one root any info. on chemical that will kill one but not the other? If neem oil will work it is taking its taking its time. Sprayed but not much happened. Have increased airflow. Whatever it is the plant hates it ! I don't think my camera will show it at this point hopefully I can eradicate.-Martin

I use Physan 20 when this happens. For mold on the mount, I use straight Vodka applied with an eye dropper to the moldy area. I suspect other forms of strong alcohol will work as well. I try not to get it on the roots, though. Physan 20 is safe to apply to the roots.

i don't know if physan 20 will harm a ghost orchid but it doesnt harm any of my mounts. i have the same mold stuff on some of mine.
