Cinnamon is Awesome!
I had an onc. with a leaf turning black at the base. It was one of the inner leaves, practically next to the crown, and wasn't coming out when I pulled on it, so I took some powdered cinnamon and kind of packed it into the crown, and the rot stopped! That leaf dried up, and the next leaf is growing normally. I wish I had tried it on the two dend seedlings I just lost to crown rot.

Another way to stop crown rot, if you catch it in time...
pour a few drops of hydrogen peroxide into the crown, let it sit for 2 or 3 minutes, then dump it out. I usually sprinkle it with a bit of cinnamon once that's done.

cinnamon & listerine?
HI there
I have had my orchids outside for the summer and since the weather is turning colder I am getting ready to bring back in. Should I be spraying the with something first? Also read that it is good to repot and spray roots with listerine? Also what do you use the cinnamon for other than fungas?

Anytime you cut the plant or there is a wound, it should be sealed with cinnamon. It will help in the healing process and stop any harmful stuff from invading the opening. |

It's a mild antiseptic.
Kills germs, bacteria.
Without killing the plant.

Try this Make a cup of black coffee cover the top with whipped milk froth and sprinkle with cinnamon
Cinnamon can also lower your blood sugars , it is a must for diabetics |
