Wonderful, Des. I think I'll go do that right now (not for rot though!)

LOL, Des,
When I started reading your reply to Linsoo's request for additional uses for cinnamon, I thought your suggestion to make some black coffee was going to lead to another home remedy for chids, not a drink for us!
Not wanting to stray too far offtopic, I use a little cinnamon in my oatmeal every morning...Delish!
Thanks for the suggestions about using cinnamon and Listerine for the plants, though. I'd never heard about that and will definitely try it in the future.

Yes, great job on this. I just bought 2 more bottles of cinnammon that I always keep with the orchid supplies and since hanging around here, have added Listerine to the list. I think it was Susanne who recommended it but it's advised to use the original, brown Listerine.
Great growing to you.

Dends don't have crowns, do they?

Nice recommendation about the Elmers Glue. Never would have thought of that.
Thanks!

be careful sprinkling cinnamon directly on health roots as it has been reported here, it dries them out and could harm or kill an otherwise health plant.

I have never experienced cinnamon harming my plants , has anyone else had problems?
I also use sulphur which can cause problems if you use too much or get it into the wrong places.
