Default Oncidium "Bobcat" with black spots on leaves

I purchased this orchid at a show here in Miami and repotted it as soon as I got it home. It was not in bloom when I purchased it. Recently I noticed that two of the leaves were turning brown and then last night when I was putting my very small collection of orchids outside after the storm passed (TS Fay) I noticed that the other leaves that are still green developed small black spots on the leaves. Could someone tell me what this is and how to remedy the problem? I tried looking it up in one of the reference books I have but could not find anything that looked like it. I would have posted a picture but the flash on the camera was too bright and you can't really see the spots.

Hi Adela...hope you're staying safe with Fay still hanging around!

Oncidiums don't like to have their leaves wet so if they got sprinkled on, they may be just showing their annoyance

We have a forum for introductions...we'd love to hear more from you about what you're growing

If you need help with anything, let us know

that could be the problem. I have been sprintzing them since it's so hot outside. Would that also be the cause for the leaves turning brown?

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I can take the flash off. Will try again and hopefully will be able to post the picture. Can you help with dendrobiums?
