Help, I found scale!

Hi,

I'm a beginner, I have a phals Noid, which has 2 spikes flowering. I spike has something like a nectar! and on the flower petals I found 6 litle bumps; I tried to remove it with a cotton swab and a litle water and dish soap...any advise please?

My Phals get scale on the flowers and stems as well. I use a toothpick and remove the brown lumps one by one. Not sure where it comes from because I have never seen scale on the leaves. The honeydew is normal and not to worry about. Lots of orchids do that. It's a sign moisture in the plant is good. But get the scale off before it causes brown spots on tops of petals.
