The nature of my business involves lots of traveling to the US. The active ingredients are licensed in Canada. So there is no problem to bring them across the border.
We use a product named Distance, it's wonderful, but expensive about 240.00 a quart. We have used the Bayer, But are not very happy with it, on the orchids,
Linda, I assume that is a concentrate, right? Does it come in smaller sizes than a quart? I am not crazy about the effect Bayer has on some plants. (leaf yellowing, leaf drop) I am hestitant to use it on my orchids. However I did try it on a couple plants and they are ok so far.
I have Used Bayer Tree and Shrub but have a question about it myself. Is it better to use it in heat below a certain level or is it good at lower temperatures like below 80? That the way I use it but since there no written procedure for orchids its all a SWAG.
you could always contact the manufacturer and explain what plant you want to use a specific product on. (After you have studied all the information an the package and any inserts they have provided.) I have found they very cooperative and answer in a reasonable time (say within a week.)
