Paph sunburn????????

I just bought this paph less than a month ago. Since I got it the leaves on one shoot turn yellow then brown in a matter of days. I've lost the four bottom leaves so far, the one pictured is the fifth. The rest of the plant doesn't seem affected.
I brought it back to the nursey and they told me that it's sunburn. I have my doubts since this plant is right next to other paphss and they do not exhibit the same symtoms at all, matter of fact the rest of this plant seem fine. They are outside on my ground level deck which is under my elevated deck, if anything I would think that it's too shady.
Anybody know what's causing this rapid demise of this beautiful orchid? Is there a way to stop it?

While it may be sunburn, I wonder if it isn't nature death of the leaves from the old growth. This looks like the growth with the spike and this will, natrually, die, but usually not until the spike has died and new growth begins to show from the base of the plant. So I would wait and see what some of the other more knowledgeable people have to say

I don't understand how one part of the plant can get sunburn while the other part of the same plant is unaffected. This plant has two spikes in flower and only one is losing leaves. It also seems to be happening too fast for it to be the natural process of losing old leaves.
Do you think it could be a virus?

I agree as I said earlier, it seems too soon for old leaves to die back when flower spikes are present. So something else may be going on. It is, however, possible to sunburn a single leave. The phal got sunburned as you can see on only one leaf and new growth is evident while the paph is turning yellow as its life is ending and there are two new growths that should flower. The paph isn't the best pic but it's all I have because I remove the yellow leaves rather quickly

Now all o fthe leaves on the originally affected growth are gone as well as the flowering spike. Noe the second growth is affected. Last night I removed the bottom leaf because of the (sunburn) and the next leaf is showing the same symtom. It's pattern is fading and I believe it will soon turn brown and die. I can't believe it's sunburn.
This morning I've transplanted into new medium and added more garden lime.
I'm hoping for the best.
My other paphs and phrag are right next to this one and not affected? I don't know what else I can do.....

I agree. I doubt very much that it is sunburn. It looks much more like the old fan is dying as paphs naturally do, especially, since you say the "second" growth is unaffected.

I just recently, by bad luck ended up torching one of my paphs- i was thinking infront of the east window- no problem, wrong! One side of the fan has the deep brown/black marks and the leaves are soft at the base and are crunching up and will fall soon. I think I might have lost my spike this year as well :S ...
If it sounds like my situation then you probably have burn, but if all your paphs are facing the same light source and thats the only one-- could it possibly be closer or in the direct path of light?
Anyhow, hopefully it'll be back up and healthy in no time
