Unsure of problem...

Hello all...here to pick the Collectives brain...!
I have one orchid...not sure even which species it comes from (Though Belleara may be the one, from what others have said).
The problem is that the leaves over the last little while have been turning yellow and dropping. Though there is new growth coming, it is confusing me. I do not know a lot about this species and need help.
Yesterday I re potted it, I had noticed that the bottom of the pot it was in had a "void" where the media should be...figured it need re potting and this may be the cause.









Anyway, any help would be appreciated!
