Black Spot on my cattleya Orchid Female

These are pictues of one of my cattleya leaves and I am not sure what these are. Maybe a fungus. I have taken it away from all my other orchids for now. Can anyone tell me what it is from and what I can do to take care of it. Thank you, Kim

I have gotten those spots on catts before too. It looks like a tumor or cancer. It has never progressed further than just being ugly on my plants, but it could be something else on your plants. I grow outside and plants get damaged from sun and too much or too little water. Hopefully one of the experts will help out on this one.

I would spray with "Captan" or another fungicide. Some might recommend RD-20, which is a fungicide, bactericide, etc.......I usually spray my benches, pots and all around the greenhouse to keep a healthy growing area. Good luck.
