Make sure you have a bit of good air circulation in the room. It will make a difference and may prevent fungi and mold from forming.

Another problem with moss is that fertilizer will break it down, turning it into a moldy soup. If you need to pot in moss, make sure you either fertilize lightly or change the moss on a regular (annual) basis.

Wow, Starbucks saves orchids!!! Maybe there was a trace of caffiene left in the cups and your orchid is buzzing. You may be onto something.

I've recently been told that chamomile tea can help prevent fungus attacks on roots of garden plants. Would this also work for orchids?
