Sick Milts and Onci's, Orange Attack!

Hello everyone, I got a HUGE issue with some of my milts and onci's, well most not some!

They are all turning orange! Leaf turns orange at the base then falls off. I have lots MOST of the leafs off of every plant

I've never seen this, so I don't know what to do. I have sprayed them with every thing I have. Including Physan. But It was too late, because it happened over night pretty much. It took most of every one, but left a couple of green ones, as you'll see. But those green ones will be orange in a day or so

I hope someone has an idea, and advice on this killer!

Cut off the affected p. bulbs and use a fungicide. I'd go for a long lived systemic with a good translaminar action. Funginex worked for me. I would also consider repotting ( I didn't do it, but I use inorganic non degradable media like Hydroton etc.)

I did repot them, but in Sphag. Maybe that's my problem? Maybe milts and onci's don't like sphag?

anyways, both would def. like sphag to recuperate the root loss. It has worked for me during similar situations. The roots look all dead, and if they are, I would cut them off. If you have a really small tupperware container ( i have some that are about 2"), cut/drill/hammer a hole into the bottom, and plant the plant in sphag in the small pot. The clear pots makes it easy to observe root growth!

Hey Jackie ! From the picture of the bulb my guess is rot starting from the roots , if the base's of the bulbs are damaged they might not produce new growth , can give it a try tho as dots and dashes said . Gin
