Default Pest id on newly purchased Oncidium Sherry Baby?

Yet another request for pest id. We just bought this Oncidium from Bird's Botanicals at the Springfield, MO orchid show and it is heavily infested. We also purchased several other plants that were transported in the same vehicle. So I need to come up with a treatment plan for all. Attached are a couple of highly magnified pictures. The stick the pest is on is a toothpick, for size reference. What do you think it is? Please recommend the best treatment.

Looks like an aphid. Start with soapy water and/or neem oil. THey do love Oncidinae. Fortunately, pretty easy to kill.

I was leaning towards that id, but wanted to verify. They are very spread out on the leaves and flowers. I'm used to seeing aphids cluster together more, so I wanted to make sure.

That looks like an aphid. Use water from the sink, shower or hose to wash them off. Be persistent and they'll be gone soon.
