Default Bulbophyllum graveolens with yellowing leaves

Hey,

I´ve got a new orchid (Bulbophyllum graveolens) recently through mail wich seems a little off. The leaves got yellow tips and small brown stripes. The backside of the leave has green dots (might be orchid genus specific?).

I got the through mail. The Orchid didnt really had a long travel (around 1 day) and not the coldest temps outside (for winter season) and got a heatpack with it.

Do you think its serious? I dont have a lot of experience with diseases/pests...

Picture for reference:

This is a plant that requires hot temperatures and high humidity. Bulbos. will have leaves turn yellow when they aren't warm enough, or don't get enough water.

I don't order plants in Winter. Even with a heat pack the risk of cold damage is too high. And I live in a warm-Winter area where it only rarely approaches freezing.

I see, yeah wasnt the best decision but out of 20 ordered orchids only this one had a real problem with it. So i thought i could get away with it.

Can i leave it be or should i cut it off?

Thank you for your answer

Leave it. Don't rush to cut anything. If the plant is done with a leaf it will drop naturally. In the meantime, it is still capable of photosynthesizing. Orchids do teach patience... you learn by observation. Orchids grow slowly, do everything slowly. So give it good care, and let it do its thing. No amputations!
