Stem rot and edema on Phalaenopsis
Default Stem rot and edema on Phalaenopsis

Hi, I recently purchased a Phalaenopsis, and as a beginner, I believe it may have stem rot. It also has developed edema on one of its leaves. I would greatly appreciate any advice on whether it can be saved and the appropriate treatment for it. Thank you very much!

Growing conditions? Max-min temps, watering frequency, humidity, how do you water it (from above or only the medium)?
A photo of the complete plant plus pot would be helpful.
Usually edema is caused by excess of water, when the natural water loss, be it by evaporation or plant transpiration, is not high enough to be eliminated. Basically, the plant absorbs more water than it can process.
