Cymbidium Virus Identification
Default Cymbidium Virus Identification

Hi all,

purchased this cymbidium a while ago, and 1
noticed that the older growths had similar markings
on the leaves. I was quite happy when the new
growth emerged with unblemished leaves, but over
the last season, I've noticed markings developing on
the new growths that look like this.

I'm now wondering if this could be a virus. Can
anyone with experience in cymbidiums confirm
whether this is viral or not? Any advice would be
appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Orchid Board.

Plants with lots of spots may be virus free, and plants with no spots may have viral infections. Only a virus test can give the answer.
