I really need help in identifying these tiny white bumps appearing on some of the backsides of my Phaaenopsis leaves. I already know they're not spider mites and am pretty sure they're not mealy bugs. They actually appear to be inside (not on top of) the leaves. Otherwise, the plant looks healthy. Can someone please help me identify what the problem might be? Thanks!!!
Hmm... I just did some searching and one suggestion that came up was plant edema (which I had no idea was a thing). Wikipedia says it can be frequently confused with powdery mildew, and other pests, fungus, and viruses (Edema (plants) - Wikipedia
Caused by potentially excessive humidity, or any situation which causes the roots to take up more water than can be transpired by the leaves.
