Default Dendrobium Inactive with dry brown spot

Hello everyone, I am having problems with this Dendrobium.

Mostly I grow Phrags and Semi Terrestrial Orchids, I was given this division Dendrobium Yukidaruma “King”.

It has been planted in an inert medium, small size, in a terracotta pot (For quite some time, in the pictures you can see the smaller bulb XD).

I have not repotted it because it was in active growth, then the bulb flowered mature and gave no more signs of life. And when I was going to repot it I discovered that horrible stain that I think killed the basal growth node.

What can I do to save it so that it does not die without offspring?

Roots look OK. The other cane looks fine. I expect that you will see new growth soon. Most of my deciduous Dendrobiums still look rather dead, they are just starting to bloom and grow. So it is still early in the season. But if you see the start of active new growth, that is the time to repot it - and give plenty of water once that starts. Yours is also in that group - it is half Den. nobile and the other half, a mix (a complex hybrid) So, patience... these may look dead, but are very much alive.

(I don't consider these Dens "dead" until they have shriveled up and stayed dead for a year. They can really surprise one!)

Try to keep direct sun off the medium and base of the stems. That area can heat up rapidly and cook plants. I have to watch for this in my climate.

The stem with the blue dot in your photo has a swelling new growth at the very base. That may sprout soon.

Thank you all, I hope a child sprouts soon and with very beautiful flowers (I want to get seeds XD)

Maybe it's a burn

Now, if it doesn't sprout in 1 year, what do I do?

Give it a chance, see what it is going to do before you worry about "what if..."

Here are some photos showing a deciduous Dendrobium, getting ready to bloom - showing what is dead and what isn't.
