Default ragged pattern on paph leaf texture

Hello, remember the Paphiopedilum godefroyae var. Leuchochilum I ordered and came with almost to root last year? It's doing well and is making 2 pups.
Except for this one pattern that I can't understand. The leaf would get this ragged texture as it get older. Is it a nutrient problem, like lack of calcium? I've check it through and through with my magnifying glass for pest, and I am sure that's not it.

If this is an old leaf. and the plant had a "rootless" problem, it is possible that this is dehydration of that growth. Remember, each new growth develops its own root system. New growth, then roots, then flowers. So if this particular growth lacked roots, the roots of the new growths would not help it much, if at all, but that old growth gave the new ones the energy to develop and thrive.
