Whats up with my Masdevallia Glandulosa?

Just wanted to also check here in case anyone had different opinions.

I've tried growing Masdies. I think it's too hot in my house for them. Their leaves looked like that. I'm guessing it's too hot, the humidity is too low, or you're not watering it enough.

I think these would be good on a porch in the outer Sunset or Richmond districts.

Funny thing is I live in that area its pretty cold in my apartment, maybe that one day of heat wave in Sf was too much for it
