New Dendrobium Leaf Spotting. Help IDing Female
Default New Dendrobium Leaf Spotting. Help IDing

NBS Dendrobium Joyce Kelly with some new growth. These spots have appeared on 2 new leaves. Nothing on other leaves or appearance of spreading to rest of plant or other nearby plants.

Spots appear clear-ish/brown, then seem to be yellow and no green in spot.

This growth, less than a month ago, was just a few inches with some happy sap on it, and it's now more than doubled in size. I'm a little worried that its "growth spurt" may be the culprit, since the base of these leaves have a little crinkling on them. Otherwise, rest of Joyce looks okay -- just trying to get settled for fall/winter rest.

I am trying to decide if this is a fungus, a virus, or just some blight from weather/conditions. I have tried to research this, but I really lack the terms to describe what's happening well enough to be successful in my searches.

Any help in IDing what's happening and possible action would be greatly appreciated. Right now, not spreading, and no signs of pests that I can find.

Thank you!

P.S. I know the images are not sharp. I am a terrible photographer with a new camera phone.
