My orchids are infested with some sort of pest that resembles fruit flies but without wings. Some if them are red and others are white. I’ve attached some photos, hope it helps. Can someone identify it and help with with the treatment please?
Possibly aphids. The white ones are likely empty shed skin from molting. If it is aphids, hose the plant off in the shower and follow up with any of the basic pesticides (insecticidal soap, horticultural oil, etc). Repeat treatments as directed on the bottle (typically every 5-10 days) at least 3-4 times.
