yes, mine is the highland form- and from the same nursery! They are a forty minute drive for me.

It has already bloomed out, and -it's funny- sometimes I notice a fragrance, and at other times it was unnoticeable.

So far the marks haven't spread, so I think another week or two will get me past this hurdle. I also intend to 'give it a bath' this coming weekend, to see if some of the mold will wash off.

If the marks are within the leaf, they won't wash off. Don't scrub! As long as they don't spread, don't worry about it. Yes, fragrance comes and goes. Stronger when it's warm,

If you got your plant at a show, it would be the mother company Ecuagenera in Ecuador.

If it is a nursery you can visit in Florida, it’s Ecuagenera USA, which is the branch company. They get their plants from Ecuagenera.

That plant most likely went through a rough patch in the import process. I’m not surprised the plant came with some blemishes.

It’s not necessary to scrub. It’s not likely to come off. I’d leave it alone.
