Epidendrum radiatum ID Disease on Leaves Male
Default Epidendrum radiatum ID Disease on Leaves

Can’t figure out what to do with this Epidendrum radiatum I’ve searched AOS and other sites and can’t find a match. See pictures. Appeared from one day to next both mature and new growth showing this browsing pattern and yellowing. Plant is mature and growing on a palm trunk for years.
I plan to hit it with fungicide, but just guessing at this point. Again, it was sudden onset.
Guidance on how to treat is appreciated!

Welcome to the Orchid Board.

Where do you live? Any chance palm leaves or nearby trees were recently removed, and it's suddenly getting a lot more light?

Hi thanks for reply! I’m in Miami, Fla.
No it’s on a bottle palm. No recent changes in condition.
I’ve been growing orchids for decades, but never encountered this before

I would say your best chance would be to contact an orchid society in the area. Somebody probably has seen this before. You could also send photos to any of the orchid nurseries in southern Florida.
