Hi all,

Do you have any idea what happen to the flower? It is the 1st time blooming and when it blooms on day 1 it was looking good but after that there are these spots / stains. Are they bitten by something or it is virus?

It seems to be an anceps. It's, probably, flower damage caused by the sticky resin produced by the plant. This happens frequently when the resin gets water over it and is not washed away.

Hi all,

Thanks for the advice but the plant is not exposed to sun. Any other possibility?

If the temperatures are cool and humidity very high a bacterial infection called botrytis may cause brown spots. Usually they are smaller and spread all over the flowers, not just at the tips.

It does not look like virus.

It is more typical of mechanical or possibly environmental damage. My first thought was sunburn, though that is unlikely as this plant usually grows in full sun.
