Default New Coelogyne

Hi everyone! So I bought this orchid at a plant sale about 2 weeks ago, it had slight brown spots but I didn’t think much of it however now it’s starting to yellow. I’ve been keeping it moist and letting it dry out before watering again and I put it out on warm days but have brought it in since it’s quite cool for the next few. Any thoughts or help is much appreciated.

Coelogynes do not like to dry out. You are keeping it far too dry. I would not put it outside until it is warm enough to keep it outside all the time. If the orchid experiences any direct sun when outside that could also contribute.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

As above. It might be a bare root back pseudobulb. Keep it as humid as you can. It will grow soon and should make more roots with the new growth.
