Question Small dark spots on Pachara Vanda in tree

Hey, guys! I've got my Pachara Delight attached to one of my palms on the east side of my house. Got my first spike and bloom off of her! When it doesn't rain I hit the roots with plenty of water. About a month ago I noticed some spots at the tip of the leaf similar to what oncidiums seems to get. She's got a bit of sunburn as well but this isn't the issue. Any idea what could be going on? Is it time for a trim and physan? This started before our lovely cold snaps so it's not that. Covered her both times and she's still flowering! I don't fertilize it. Wanted to experiment and see how it did with just nature. I'm in north Florida so humidity is good. Roots are incredibly healthy, wrapping all the way around the tree, none dying off. Any advice is appreciated

That looks like Guignardia/Phyllosticta. Have a look at the diseases page at the St Augustine Orchid Society Web page.

That's what I was thinking as well. Sure looks like it! Time to break out the physan. Thanks as always!

Physan won't help. The spots are where the fungus growing inside the leaves has pushed through to release spores. A systemic fungicide would be needed. There is a lot of information online about treating this disease.
