I just got a couple of the Mosquito Dunks, what is the best way to use them, someone said to add 1/4 of a dunk to a gallon of water and leave over night. Then use it to water the plants when the need watering. Any other things I should do ? once again thank you

Just leave the 1/4 piece in the watering can/jug all the time. Refill as needed (don’t water immediately after filling, wait a little bit) and replace monthly. You’ll need to use the dunks for quite awhile to make sure you’ve disrupted the full lifecycle of the gnats/flies. Keep using the dunks for a couple weeks after the last time you’ve seen an adult. Use the water on all your houseplants to be sure you’ve eliminated all of them.

Wanted to make this part more clear; keep the jug/container full when you aren’t using it. The dunks release the Bt into the water but it takes a little bit of time. No idea what the minimum amount of time is or if temperature impacts the speed, so my preference is the longer the better.
