Default tiny bugs

Hi I have these tiny little bugs, sort of like a fruit fly but smaller. What is the best way to get rid of them. The yellow sticky things catch some. thanks

Fungus gnats? If yes, BTI / mosquito dunks with do the trick.

A product sold for use in standing water that prevents mosquitoes from breeding in it. Uses the biologic Bt (it has a longer name) which is a naturally occurring bacteria found in soil. It’s harmless to plants, animals, amphibians, etc, but disrupts the development of some specific insects.

Hello Sawdust. I have had great success controlling fungus gnats using Mosquito Bits (see pic). I water seedling Catts, Paphs and Phals during Winter, using my directions taped to the front of the bag. Happy growing from North Alabama. (I hope you can see the pic.) Thanks, ROBB

You can leave the dunks in a water jug all the time. Break off 1/4 or 1/2 and pop it in, replace monthly. The bigger size will ensure it floats out of the way when you pour. The bits work just as well but they may be more of a nuisance when pouring.
