[QUOTE=Girl_With_An_Orchid;997439]I haven’t actually been able to cut it yet. They’re all dead but it’s still there! 😅 That basal baby is super cute! Congrats!
I found a couple extra buggies so I’m getting the bayer 3-in-1 and I’m gonna start that.
I’ve attached a pic of one of my leaves. It looks really bad but I’m hoping this is only because of the drowning. Estación seca, have you seen this when you’ve done it? Will this end when the leaf dies or do I need to cut it?[/QUOTE

Thank you!
I had a similar issue when I soaked my brassavola seedling in soap water to get rid of scale. apparently the scale makes holes in the leaf tissue and due to that water seeps into the holes. The leaf picture you shared looked bad, if it was me I would cut the leaf portion just to avoid getting any secondary infections. Thats what I did with my seedling now its recovering. Btw after soaking the plant I hope you made sure you had fan running for few hours to properly dry the plant completely. Do you have the picture of the leaf taken prior to soaking?

Also you can check the pictures of how my brassavola seedling leaves looked after soaking in the thread link below. It looked very similar to yours.
Brassavola seedling leaves got blackish lines along midrib
