I hope that isn't cinammon on roots. It dries them and can damage them. The roots you showed at first were healthy, needing no treatment.

Yes thats cinnamon on the roots fell by mistake on the roots when I was trying to put some on the crown to stop the rot.

Many Phals normally make multiple growths from the base. Most people use the word "keiki" to refer to a plantlet that originates in a different area than normal growth - like a flower stalk, or from nodes on the stems in the case of Dendrobiums.
