I had it in one pot for a very long time, it didn't spread to other pots, tried hydrogen porxide, didn't help..
Never saw any insects around there.
Now I saw it in two additional pots, one with rather fresh media.
Definitely looks like a fungus that pops up from time to time in my pots. No way to know if it’s the same stuff but in my house it is most often present in pots with nearly brand new bark (<2-3 months old), it doesn’t harm anything, so I ignore it. Likely something that would pop up after an extended rain out in nature.
hmmm, i dunno either...what kinda plant is it? just cause if it’s a phal or something that doesn’t mind repotting now then i would just give it a good repot and root rinse. bleach pot or get a new one. observe if any other sign of bug or more of these.
the moss looks ok to me, but the bark seems kinda dark. dunno, definitely report back if you see something else tho! seems like it should be fairly easy to track down...
White fuzzy mold tends to grow on decaying matter and not hurt living plants. I have noticed it is commoner with cool temperatures. If the medium is relatively fresh I don't do anything when I see it to try and kill it other than manipulate watering and perhaps keep the plants warmer if it's been cool. Depending on what plant it is I would let it get more dry between watering. I would not pour anything through the medium to kill the fungus. That will almost certainly damage roots.
