Pest or Disease? Phal with lacey holes & white dots on leaves
My phal was recently repotted. I have started to notice lacey holes appearing on a leave and I just discovered another today. They seem to only be on one leaf.
Note: The 4th picture is some small white dots I hadn't noticed before. Is this part of the other issue?
Is this pest or disease or something more nefarious?? HELP!

Reason: fixing the title
Roberta,
Thank YOU so much for weighing in! I have never seen this before, so I've been flummoxed on what to do about it. My 'babies' are inside plants, but recently I put them out to catch some rain. Maybe I got a hitchhiker then! I'll keep an eye on the rest of my plants and keep my fingers crossed it's just this one.
Really. Really appreciate your experience and reply!
The dots are scale insects. Use the Search function in the maroon menu to read more. The holes look like snail or slug damage. They have a rasping mouth that leaves scrapes like that.

Thank you so very much for your attention to this issue. My orchids are 'inside guys', but I recently put them out to enjoy a rain bath and my guess is that a hitchhiker or three made a new home for themselves!
At least now I know what I'm fighting!
Take a look at the plant at night... if outside, use a flashlight or headlamp. You may catch the culprit at work. If so, it is VERY satisfying to pick the little nasty off the plant, place on the ground and STOMP.
