Thank you all.

@fuerte... I just got It. I'll use it ... Before the ladybugs arrives. Jajajaja

I think I am the one who going to stat eating them.

Today I found another pet...I don't know what was it until today; SCALE ; "queresas"in spanish or somey thing like it. It looks like a a little brown 🟤 dut and is hard.

Sorry but for the 1st time in years I am having bugs. I hear that this year will be complicated in regard to Pets attack in my area, I am not sure due to what.

ya know the mealys could have come from outside if you leave the windows open or the doors. The wind, animals or even you can have them on your clothes when you come in from watering the outdoor garden.

lady bugs lacewings and mantis would greatly benefit your outdoor gardening and maybe limit your orchids to exposure from the pets as we shall call them now too

Hello Sade,

You can still find Epik online and other acetamipride’s formulations as a home bug’s infestation at stores like Leroy Merlin. This is the easiest way I have find to control thrips and mealy bugs infestation. Good luck!

Most mentioned are extremely toxic pesticides for use inside the house. The soak in water does work.

Quite agree re toxicity ES. I thought Sade kept her plants outside during the summer. I wouldn't use Piriproxifen indoors!

And also agree re the water soak method for indoor use. I've had to repeat a couple of times occasionally but in general one good go will sort it out. With one phal I immersed it completely in Kelpak for 12 hours - it put on very good root growth afterwards!

Courtesy of the apparent connection between neonicotinoids like imidacloprid and bee colony collapse, it has been removed from the Bayer Advanced 3-in-1 product here in the US, which has been rebranded as Bio Advanced. Despite the lack of imidacloprid, it is still quite effective on mealy bugs.

Now everything IS outdoor except for in-bloom Phals and Paph.

I have done the soap soaking + alcohol with the plants I could inside, and then used the 3 in 1 outdoor.

I can see the light now... Everything look calm ... Only a few deformed bugs could be seen.

Great team work!!

And RIP all my beautiful blooms and the killers bugs, I forget the enemies attacks after all.

What kind of soap do you use? Castile?
