I wouldn't treat until I knew them to be harmful. Consider taking some of them to a local university or your agricultural extension. Pesticides in the house are harmful to people, too.

Malathion is my go to of choice. Deadly to insects. Won't harm mammals. And if you spray the foliage and drench the substrate, it is a one time deal. Do it outside and rinse down the runoff, if there is any concern about pets. I've never had an issue.

It’s always best to identify the pest, then select a suitable pesticide product if one is warranted.
