Phal with leaf discoloration- need help diagnosing
Default Phal with leaf discoloration- need help diagnosing

I’m new to orchid care, and this phal developed discolored areas on both the tops and bottoms of leaves a month or so ago. I’ve isolated it, cut off discolored leaf tips (treated cut areas with cinnamon) and treated the whole plant with a copper soap spray around 2 weeks ago. It seems to have possibly stabilized (?), but I’m not sure what’s wrong, what to do next or if I need to worry about my other plants. Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

Those could be old damage from sucking insects. It might have been spider mites, scale or mealy bugs. Did you ever see bugs? Or very fine silvery webbing under the leaves?

No, I never saw any insects or webbing and haven’t seen any on my other plants. This one was near them until I noticed the discoloration, haven’t seen anything similar on any of the other orchids.
